This after school program seeks to remedy the lack of Spanish theater programs for new immigrant youth in the Brentwood school district. During the semester the students learn about  theater & literature, and they produce & stage stories by Latin American theater writers. The objective is to appreciate theater in their own spanish language & learn about the important contributions of Latin American writers to the field of theater. For many of these young people who crossed the US border on foot and undocumented, it's the first time they had access  theater.
