Advocacy

Teatro Yerbabruja believes in the power of advocacy. It's important to ensure that all people in a society are able to have their voice heard on issues that are important to them, are able to protect and promote their rights, and are able to have their diverse perspectives considered when decisions are being made about their lives. Our organization participates in advocacy groups & conversations to insure we are working towards sustainable solutions towards a brighter and more just & equitable future for our communities. Some of these collectives include the Long Island Coalition, NYS Advisory Group & Suffolk County Legislature.
